Homemade Brown Sugar
Brown sugar is so easy to make! Make light or dark sugar by adjusting the amount of mollasses.
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 to 4 tbsp molasses Amount determine light or dark mollasses, see notes section.
Instructions
- Combine sugar and desired amount of molasses to create light or dark molasses.
- Mix well until the sugar is well mixed It should be evenly colored and moist.
- Store in an air-tight container.
Notes
Light Brown Sugar: Use 2 tablespoons of molasses.
Dark Brown Sugar: Use 4 tablespoons of molasses.
