
Single Batch Spaghetti Sauce
This spaghetti sauce is simple and quick to make from canned tomatoes!
Ingredients
- 1 15 oz can diced tomatoes
- 1 15 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 6 oz can tomato paste
- 2 tbsp sugar adjust to taste
- 1/2 tsp basil
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp fennel
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes adjust to taste
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients in a large pot. Use your discretion about the amounts of pepper and red pepper flakes!
- On medium heat bring mixture to a simmer.
- Stir frequently to prevent burning. Allow to cook for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Taste the sauce, and make any flavor adjustments to suit your likings.
