It’s an exciting day at Kowalski Mountain!! We closed on an additional 28 acres of adjoining property! The total acreage is now 68 acres!
Philip and his parents, Danny and Joy Murphy collaborated to make this a possibility. The Murphy’s will maintain a small portion of property along the road. They will have a place to call their own and they will also partner with us at the homestead on bigger projects.
The biggest advantage that the additional property affords us is that we will now own the access to Kowalski Mountain. Previously we shared an easement with the previous owner. While we had access to the property, the parties had different ideas on the best way of maintaining the driveway. While we were permitted to improve the drive anyway we liked, the time involved in improving other people’s property wasn’t a feasible option for us.
We’ve also added two large cleared fields, as well as additional wooded areas to expand our hunting grounds. We’re excited about this addition, this opens up additional opportunity for growth and expansion!
